Raising awareness, assessing, supporting and giving girls the means to succeed.

On Saturday 17 October 2026, the MBÛRÜ Foundation held an awareness session on citizenship for the girls enrolled in the ELLES & NOUS programme. Mr Arnaud YALIKI, Senior Lecturer at the University of Bangui, led the session.

The meeting highlighted the importance of civic values, respect for rights and duties, personal responsibility and active participation in community life. These values shape young women who understand their role and contribute positively to the development of their society.

The session also included a micro-evaluation of the ELLES & NOUS programme. It took stock of each participant's journey, recognised what they have learned and identified their needs more precisely, so that our work can achieve greater impact.

To close the day, the Foundation handed out school kits and dignity kits to the participants, to support their education and contribute to their well-being.

Through the ELLES & NOUS programme, the MBÛRÜ Foundation continues its commitment to the fulfilment, education and empowerment of girls. Every girl deserves to learn, to flourish and to build her future with dignity.
